In this presentation, we present our research work on design and development of a computer-aided change detection (CADcd) system.
The system applies both image processing and image mining techniques to help clinicians diagnose bleeding in children's brains--i.e., in medical terms, paediatric acute intracranial haemorrhage (AIH). Specifically, we discuss some motivation for developing the CADcd system, as well as background and related work.
We also give an overview of our proposed system and provide the design details of some important units (such as those for image processing and image mining) of our system. Moreover, we also present our ongoing and future work.
