Lily Woo graduated from University of Manitoba with a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering in May 2004. She is currently working towards her M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba under the supervision of Dr. W. Kinsner and Dr. K. Ferens. Her other research role is as a graduate student researcher at Telecommunications Research Laboratories (TRLabs) Winnipeg. The focus of her Master’s thesis is on investigating and analyzing the performance of ZigBee mesh networks under noisy conditions - a multidisciplinary research work that calls for knowledge on signal processing, fractals and chaos, simulation and modelling, and wireless networks.
